The authorities have announced spring vacations for educational institutions across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.

According to a notification issued by the Elementary and Secondary Education Department (ESED) in Peshawar, all government and private educational institutions will have spring break from April 1 to 8.

The notification read that all head teachers, principals, and clerical staff would not be granted spring vacations to ensure the smooth functioning of administrative affairs.

It added that other school staff will also be present for the admissions of new students and distribution of free books.

According to the announcement, both plains and highlands areas will observe the spring break.

This decision aims to provide students with a well-deserved break after a rigorous academic period. It also allows educational institutions to undertake necessary maintenance and administrative tasks during the vacation period.
