Ashrafi demands legal action against Pakistanis involved in Israel visit

Pakistan Ulema Council (PUC) Chairman Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mahmood Ashrafi has demanded Prime Minister to hold an inquiry on the statement of the Israeli President about a visit of the Pakistani delegation to Israel.

According to the 24News HD TV channel, the PUC chairman in a video statement said it should be probed who had given permission to people to visit Israel on the Pakistani passports.

Hafiz Tahir Ashrafi has said that strict legal action should be taken against not only those who have visited Israel but those who gave permission in this regard.

The PUC chairman said that the position of the Pakistani nation and the state is very clear that Pakistan has nothing to do with Israel.

He also said that the people who went to Israel in the name of Pakistan have hurt the hearts of the Muslim Ummah.
