Fire breaks out in Karachi plastic factory

A fire broke out Monday in a plastic manufacturing factory near Polytechnic College Site Area, Karachi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to the rescue sources, four fire tenders and a snorkel of the fire brigade launched an opeation to douse the fire.

Police and other law enforcement officials also reached the spot.

The flames of fire and the thick smoke emitting from it could be seen from afar.

The fire had engulfed the upper floor of the factory, police said.

“There was plastic making material in the three storied building,” police said.

More vehicles had been called to extinguish the fire.
