Former KP Minister Atif Khan faces NAB action over corruption charges
The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has initiated action on two applications against former provincial minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Atif Khan for alleged misuse of authority and corruption, reported 24NewsHD TV channel Tuesday.
According to the applications, Atif Khan illegally constructed a gym on a private land in Mardan at the expense of the government and also established an unlawful housing society by changing the type of agricultural land.
The applications also claimed that Atif Khan was involved in embezzlement of funds in the Mardan beautification project.
NAB has sought relevant records from the concerned departments and authorities to probe the allegations against the former minister.
