Top Jhang lawyer among three shot dead

Three people including former president of Jhang District Bar Association (JDBA) Advocate Muneer Ahmad Khan Sadhana died when two unidentified motorcyclists opened fire on his vehicle in Jhang on Saturday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Sources said that the driver of the vehicle died on the spot, and Advocate Muneer Ahmad Sadhana received serious wounds.

The lawyer was immediately shifted to the Trauma Centre, but he breathed his last in the hospital.

An unidentified passerby was also killed from the gunfire in the incident.

The gunmen escaped from the scene after committing the crime

Soon after receiving the report, Deputy Commissioner Ali Akbar, District Police Officer (DPO) Bilal Iftikhar reached the Trauma Center. 

Later, the police shifted the dead body of Muneer Ahmad Sadhana to the hospital mortuary.

Sadhana's funeral prayers were offered later in the day on Saturday.

Bar President Farid Nawaz Naul, Secretary Ahmed Sher Bharwana, Punjab Bar Council Member Chaudhry Mushtaq, former bar president Sarfaraz Kharal, AD Sundarana, Naeem Haider Sial, Khaliq Dad, Advocate Amir Sultan, Usama Baslana, Asif Dhadi, Tahir Farooq Sajid, Advocate Zia Kazmi, Nawab Anis, Ambassador Hussain Bharwana, Professor Advocate Mullah Khan Hyderi, Advocate Liaquat Baloch, Liaquat Ali Sial, Akhtar Khan, Aftab Sial, Ali Zeb Maghiana, Faisal Farid Naul, Hasnain Naul, Advocate Amir Sial Patwana, Hasnain Ali and Sardarzada Tajamul Hussain attended the funeral prayers.  

Former federal minister Makhdoom Faisal Saleh Hayat, former MPA Faisal Jabwana, former District Council chairman Babar Khan Sial and Advocate Supreme Court and former member of Punjab Bar Council Makhdoom Majeed Hussain also attended the funeral prayers.
