Saudi Ambassador Nawaf Bin Said Al-Malki called on Punjab Assembly Speaker Chaudhary Pervez Elahi, reported 24News HD TV channel on Wednesday. 

Provincial Minister Hafiz Ammar Yasir, MNA Chaudhry Salik Hussain, and Chaudhry Rasikh Elahi were also present in the meeting.

On the occasion, Chaudhary Pervez Elahi said that the basis of our relationship with Saudi Arabia is on Kalima. He said whenever there was a difficult time for Pakistan, Saudi Arabia supported and always stood by Pakistan. 

Ambassador Nawaf said Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi truly loved Islam. 

Ch Pervez Elahi said that the Punjab Assembly passed the bill which made necessary the teaching of the Holy Quran in schools
The Saudi Ambassador said Pakistani doctors, engineers, scientists, and workers were playing an important role in strengthening the Saudi economy and country’s development. 
 
Nawaf Saeed Al-Maliki visited the new building of the Punjab Assembly.
