201 Pakistanis return home, 315 Indians sent back through Wagah

Pakistan has sent back a total of 315 Indian citizens to India while 201 Pakistanis came back to Lahore through the Wagah border on Tuesday. 

The return of the nationals of two neighboring countries started after tensions between Pakistan and India reached its peak in the wake of Phalgam attack in Indian held Kashmir. 

According to the official source, two Pakistani women who had gone to India after marriage were also sent back. 

One woman said she had a baby in India and was forced to return without her child due to her Pakistani nationality. She added that her four-month-old son is still with her Indian husband. 

The second woman shared a similar experience. She said she had four children in India and was still forced to leave the country due to her nationality.  She was also deported and separated from her family. 

These things happened after India stopped the Indus Waters Treaty and told Pakistani people living in India to go back. This has made life harder for families with members in both countries and created new worries about how political decisions hurt ordinary people.
