Volunteers sought from universities to implement PM’s Petrol Relief Project
Universities have been asked to give volunteers so that they could guide citizens and petrol pump employees in using Petrol Relief App, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
In a letter, university administrations have been told that three volunteers will be deployed at each petrol pump under the Prime Minister’s Petrol Relief Project.
Volunteers will also be imparted online training.
PM Shehbaz has introduced a targeted Petrol Relief Package to assist low-income individuals and the transport sector in response to high fuel prices.
The initiative aims to provide a subsidy of Rs100 per liter for motorcycle and rickshaw owners, with a monthly quota of 20 liters, saving users up to Rs 2,000 per month.
