Federal Minister for Information Fawad Chaudhry responded to the PDM meeting in Karachi termed it a flop show, 24News HD TV channel reported on Sunday.

The federal minister said the PDM just did a show in which there was no power as it was an alliance of incompetent and frivolous opposition parties. He said PDM actually held the meeting against the PPP.

Fawad said that Shehbaz Sharif was being used by Nawaz Sharif for his personal politics.  He said whatever alliance was led by Maulana Fazlur Rehman couldn’t succeed in the past like Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA). 

The minister said PTI would form government in Sindh in the next term and the PDM would spend the next seven years carrying protest banners too.

Reacting over the inflation matter raised by Shehbaz Sharif in the PDM meeting in Karachi, Fawad said it was happened because of money laundering of his elder brother, sons and sons-in-law staying in London nowadays.

Fawad terming the PML-N rule in Pakistan since last three decades a reason for the misery of Karachi and Sindh, adding people had not forgotten the slogans like "Sher Aatta Kha Gia” (Lion ate flour).

He also criticized the PDM for holding public meetings despite a severe wave of coronavirus in the country and termed it a highly irresponsible act of its leadership. He said they were using workers as fuel for personal political interests.
