A court in Islamabad on Tuesday approved the interim bail application filed by Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) leader and former National Assembly (NA) speaker Asad Qaiser in the case of violation of section 144 in lieu of surety bond of Rs5, 000, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

The court, on the occasion, directed the police to appear on the next date of the hearing along with the case record. 

Islamabad Police had booked Qaiser and other PTI leaders after they took out a rally despite the imposition of section 144 in the federal capital.
