Government Senators while terming Imran Khan's claim of collecting five billion rupees through a telethon as a drama has said that they made calls to their people by sitting in the next room, reported 24 News HD TV Channel.

Addressing a joint press conference in Islamabad on Tuesday, senators of PPP Palwasha Khan and PML-N Dr Afnan Ullah Khan said that there is left no doubt that Imran Khan is involved in destroying the country by taking foreign funding. 

Palwasha Khan said that the PTI’s conspiracy to make the country bankrupt by failing the IMF deal is tantamount to betrayal of the country.

Dr Afnan Ullah Khan said that the audio leak of former finance minister Shaukat Tareen and the finance ministers of Punjab and Pakhtunkhwa exposed their true identity. Shaukat Tareen should be ashamed, he added. 

Palwasha said that they will decide together with the allied parties to file a case of treason against Imran Khan and others.
