Good news for federal government employees: Special allowance up by Rs5,000

The Center has increased the special allowance of federal government employees by Rs5,000, 24NewsHD TV channel reported.

According to a notification issued by the finance ministry, the special allowance of federal government employees has been increased from Rs32,000 to Rs37,000, Ministry of Finance

The special allowance will be applicable from July 1, it said, adding that special allowance will not count as part of basic pay
