‘Outlaw’ killed in police encounter in Karachi 

An alleged outlaw was killed in an encounter with the police in the Gaddap locality of Karachi on Sunday, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel. 

The suspect, who was identified as Salim, son of Ghulam Yasin, died on way to a hospital. 

According to the AVLC, the deceased was affiliated with Punjab-based Malik gang, which was involved in incidents of car snatching and other crimes.

An Alto car was recovered from the possession of the suspect, which he had snatched from within the limits of Sachal police station.

Police also recovered a 30-bore pistol from him.

Salim was involved in crimes such as murder, dacoities and possession of illegal weapons.

As many as seven cases had been registered against him at different police stations of the city.  

His accomplices namely Wasim, Zain, Sajjad managed to flee from the spot.

Police said they were conducting raids for the arrest of his accomplices. 

15-year-old girl injured 

A 15-year-old girl named Zuha was injured after she was struck by a stray bullet near Malir Al-Falah Society. 

The girl was shifted to Jinnah Hospital. 

62-year-old man injured 

A 62-year-old man, who was identified as Zulfiqar Ahmad, was injured while resisting robbery bid in Mehmoodabad. 

He was taken to a hospital. 

One wounded in Korangi Ilyas Goth

One person was injured after he was fired at in Korangi Ilyas Goth over old enmity. 

The injured man was identified as 34-year-old Zahid.
