The US dollar lost 74 pasias in value against the Pakistani rupee and dropped to Rs177.50 from Rs178.24 in the interbank trading on Thursday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The previous close of the greenback on Wednesday was Rs178.24.

The US dollar after the fresh loss against the Pakistani fell down the psychological barrier of Rs178.

Experts said that the Pakistani rupee performed well in the last few days of the year and its closing at 2021 end would be important for the coming days trend.
