Minor dies in wedding celebratory firing

A child was killed while two people suffered injuries in two different celebratory aerial firing-related incidents at weddings in Sheikhupura, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday. 

Two people were hurt when revelers at a wedding event started aerial firing in Sheikhupura’s village Qabar Wali.

The injured were rushed to the DHQ hospital Sheikhupura where one of the injured was referred to Mayo Hospital Lahore due to his critical condition.

The injured were identified as Mehdi Hassan and Zeeshan Javed. 

In the other incident, a child Aseem was killed when the drunken friends of groom fired shots in the air during a marriage ceremony in Ghazi Minara area of Sheikhupura.

The police could not arrest any accused so far.
