Woman held with 100 heroin-filled capsules in stomach at Islamabad Airport

An attempt to smuggle drugs to Sharjah was foiled by the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) at Islamabad International Airport after a seizure of 100 heroin-filled capsules from a woman’s stomach, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
The passenger, a Narowal resident, was travelling to Sharjah via Pakistan International Airlines flight PK-209 when she was detained by the ANF officials.
In another operation conducted near Hayatabad in Peshawar, the ANF officials apprehended a Khyber resident and recovered 40kg of heroin from a pickup.
The accused were booked in separate cases under the Anti-Narcotics Act.
