Australian star Matthew Short registers for PSL-10 draft

The registration process of international cricketers who expressed their intention to participate in Pakistan Super League-10 (PSL-10) continues, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Monday.
The latest registration was obtained by Australian cricketer Matthew Short for the PSL-10 draft. 
Earlier, West Indies spinner Gudakesh Motie officially signed up for the 10th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) player draft.
Motie, a skilled T20 bowler, has represented the West Indies in 29 T20 International matches, taking 31 wickets. He has also made his mark in franchise cricket, playing for the Guyana Amazon Warriors in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL). In 41 CPL matches, Motie has claimed 46 wickets, with an impressive average of 21.36 and an economy rate of 7.20.
The 29-year-old is the 18th foreign player to sign up for the PSL 10 draft, which will be held for the first time in Balochistan. Gwadar will host the event on January 11, 2025.
The draft will feature some exciting picks, with Lahore Qalandars making the first selection in the platinum category, followed by Karachi Kings, Quetta Gladiators, Peshawar Zalmi, Multan Sultans, and Islamabad United.
