Brooklyn Beckham has publicly showered his wife Nicola Peltz with affection, calling her his “sweetie pie,” as the couple continue to present a united front amid an ongoing rift with the Beckham family and mounting backlash from fans.
The latest show of solidarity came after Nicola, 30, shared a cosy Instagram photo of herself and Brooklyn, 26, snuggled up on a sofa wearing matching grey outfits. The pair appeared relaxed and happy, laughing together as Brooklyn scrolled through his phone. Nicola captioned the post, “We didn’t plan our outfits,” prompting Brooklyn to reply in the comments with the affectionate message: “my sweetie pie.”
The post quickly drew attention, arriving just days after Brooklyn was noticeably absent from Holly Ramsay and Olympic swimmer Adam Peaty’s wedding. The high-profile ceremony was attended by the rest of the Beckham clan, including Sir David Beckham, Victoria Beckham and their younger children, further fuelling speculation about the family feud.
According to reports, Brooklyn and Nicola have had little to no contact with his side of the family for months, with tensions said to have escalated after Brooklyn missed his father David’s 50th birthday celebrations earlier this year.
