KP LG elections: minister accused of ECP code violation

The Swat District Election commissioner has issued a notice to a provincial minister on the charge of code of conduct violation, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday.

The district commissioner summoned Dr Amjad Ali on February 4 over the matter of election code violation.

JUI district head Qari Fatehullah moved the commission against the provincial minister.

According to the notice, the second phase of local bodies elections has been begun and no minister can announce development schemes after such a step.
