Weather forecast for Basant in Lahore

The chief meteorologist on Friday ruled out the possibility of rain in Lahore during the Basant festival and forecast pleasant weather for the celebrations.

Speaking to a private news channel, Chief Meteorologist Dr. Zaheer Babar said that weather will remain favourable during three days of Basant, making conditions ideal for the spring festival. He confirmed that there is no chance of rain during this period.

Dr. Babar added that there will be a cloud cover along with good winds, while nights will remain cool. He also forecast a gradual rise in temperature over the coming days.

He said that citizens will be able to enjoy the Basant festival to the fullest under the expected weather conditions.

Basant is scheduled to be celebrated across Punjab from February 6 to 8.
