Young Baloch woman commits suicide in Lahore

A disheartened Baloch woman committed suicide by drinking bleach in Lahore, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

The tragic incident occurred in the Dubanpura area of Sabzazar in Lahore. The deceased was identified as Sheeta Bibi, who was 21 years old.

Soon after receiving the report of incident, local police rushed to the spot and shifted the dead body to Jinnah Hospital.

Police said that they were investigating the matter to detect the real motive behind the suicide.

Earlier in May 2025, a man committed suicide by shooting himself in the head in Lahore.

The incident occurred near the Nishat Hotel in the Gulberg area of Lahore. The deceased was later identified as Hassan Maqsood, who was 37 years old.

Soon after receiving the report, local police reached the site and shifted the body to the local hospital’s mortuary.
