The Civil Aviation Authority Tuesday allowed an extension in the domestic flight operations in Pakistan till August 31.

Earlier, the CAA had allowed the domestic flight operations from six airports of the country till June 30. However, the CAA has issued a new NOTAM extending the date for the domestic flight operations till August 31.

The domestic flight operations will be allowed only at Lahore, Islamabad, Karachi, Quetta and Peshawar airports. The flights to and from Gilgit/Sakardu airport will be allowed only from Islamabad airport.

According to the NOTAM, the domestic flight operation will remain suspended on all other airports of the country.
