China's company keen to set up textile digital printing factory in Faisalabad

China's company Zhejiang Linyu Digital CEO Victor Guo called on Punjab Minister for Industries and Commerce Chaudhry Shafay Hussain and expressed keen interest in setting up a textile digital printing factory in the Faisalabad Special Economic Zone. 

During the meeting, the minister assured that the Punjab government would provide all possible support and encouraged the Chinese group to invest in the province. 

Secretary Housing Noorul Amin Mengal, DG Punjab Board of Investment Dr. Sohail Ahmed, representatives from the Chinese company, and local industrialists were also present at the meeting. 

Chaudhry Shaafay Hussain mentioned that several Chinese companies have already invested billions of dollars in Punjab, and more are ready to invest. Investors in Special Economic Zones enjoy special incentives, such as a 10-year income tax exemption and a one-time duty-free import of machinery. He said that a community center for foreign investors is being constructed in the Special Economic Zone under the auspices of FEDMC. Investors in special economic zones enjoy special incentives. 

Chaudhry Shafay Hussain reiterated his commitment to bringing new investment to Punjab. He added that the establishment of new industries would also generate employment opportunities. 

He further shared that, on the Chief Minister’s directive, a Garment City is being built in Quaid-e-Azam Business Park, Sheikhupura. The Chinese group may also collaborate with Punjab’s technical education institutions to provide training in digital printing services.
