Rains disrupt Pakistan Railways' operation, several trains delayed
The ongoing monsoon season has disrupted Pakistan Railway’s operations, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.
The current rainy season disrupted the entire schedule of Pakistan Railways badly, 24NewsHD reported on Monday.
According to the details, Karakorum Express, Pakistan Express, Shah Hussain Express, Millat, and Pak Business Express were delayed by several hours. One passenger said that Pakistan Railway collected the full amount of the ticket but failed to provide any facilities.
The Lahore-bound Karakorum Express, which was scheduled to depart from Karachi at 3 pm, will now depart at 4 pm.
Fareed Express, which was scheduled to depart from Karachi to Lahore, will now leave at 9 pm instead of 7 pm.
Khyber Mail will leave Karachi for Rawalpindi at 1 am instead of 10.15 pm.
Sukkur Express, which was scheduled to depart for Sukkur from Karachi, will depart at 12.30 am instead of 11.00 pm.
Pakistan Express will depart from Karachi for Rawalpindi at 3 pm instead of 2 pm.
Allama Iqbal Express will now leave for Sialkot from Karachi at 3 pm instead of 5.30 pm.
Pak Business Express will leave for Karachi from Lahore at 4 pm instead of 6.15 pm.
Shah Hussain Express will now depart for Lahore from Karachi at 10 pm at 9 pm.
Millat Express will leave for Lahore via Lalamusa at 6.30 pm instead of 5 pm.
