Ogra proposed hefty increase in diesel price

The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has recommended an increase of Rs4.36 per litre in the price of high-speed diesel for the month of June, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
However, it has been decided that there would be no change in prices of petrol, light diesel and kerosene oil.

The Ogra has forwarded a summary to the Petroleum Division in which it has recommended an increase in the price of high-speed diesel by Rs4.36 per litre. A final notification will be issued by the Finance Ministry after approval from Prime Minister Imran Khan.
If approved, the new price of high-speed diesel will be applicable from June 1 (Tuesday).
