According to an Indian news agency, the principal of a school in India was arrested after he hung a student upside down from the first floor of a school building as punishment.

The photo, which went viral on social media, shows the school principal hanging a student upside down from the building in front of other students.

The report said that the principal got angry with the student's behaviour while eating and wanted to teach him a lesson. After the student screamed and apologized, the principal pulled him back upstairs.

On the other hand, the Indian police have taken notice of the incident and arrested the school principal and a case has also been registered against him under the provisions of the Juvenile Justice Act.
