An FC soldier embraced martyrdom in a bomb blast in a sweet shop in the main bazaar of Kohlu district in Balochistan on Friday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

The martyred FC personnel, Sajid Lashari, is a resident of Taunsa. Reportedly, 20 people sustained injuries. Eleven critically injured were shifted to a hospital in Dera Ghazi Khan.  

The CCTV footage of the incident, which 24News managed to obtain, clearly showed people running amok in panic soon after the blast.

Police, on the other hand, said that it was a time bomb which exploded at 11:05 AM.  The force further said that two and a half kilos of explosive material was used in the blast.

Soon after the incident, personnel of FC and Police cordoned off the area.    

An emergency has been declared in the DHQ Hospital.

The nature of the blast is yet to be determined as investigations are underway by the police.
