Meera accuses Resham of mocking Laila’s poverty
Film star Meera has made a strong statement in support of her longtime friend and fellow film star Laila, saying that the actress went through years of financial and personal struggles and was mocked by Resham during her difficult phase.
Meera while sharing an emotional message on Instagram titled “My Sister Laila - Her True Story” in which she opened up about what she described as Laila’s struggles over the years.
According to Meera, Laila worked hard from a young age and faced several difficult periods in her personal life.
She claimed that Laila lost her house, car, jewellery and family and was left to deal with her problems on her own.
Meera further alleged that actress Resham subjected Laila to a “very tough time” in Lahore for 20 years because of Laila's financial situation.
She also professed that Resham would make fun of Laila for not having a car or house and would repeatedly try to put her down.
These accusations have not been verified, and also Resham has not publicly responded to the allegations at the time of writing.
Meera wished the best for her friend and prayed she finally settles down and finds happiness.
She also prayed for Laila to find a suitable partner and build a peaceful life.
Meera then turned her attention to Laila’s current stint on Tamasha Season 5, calling her the “Queen of Tamasha” and describing her as entertaining, hardworking and deserving of the audience’s support.
She requested viewers to vote for Laila and help her win the reality show.
