JIT submits report to KP govt regarding Dr Warda murder case
A Joint Investigation Team (JIT) submitted its report to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government, which identified police officials involved in Dr. Warda murder case, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
The JIT report further revealed that the awarding of sentences to the accused persons is the liability of the provincial government.
The JIT member said that the punishment recommended for any Abbottabad police officer was proportionate to his guilt.
He further said that Rida is the main accused who is involved in the murder of Dr. Warda, and accused Shamraz is a paid killer.
Advocate Ishaq Zikriya said that the accused Rida and her husband Waheed Billa were in contact with their employees through mobile.
Doctors Association of Abbottabad President Dr. Mouzzam demanded that the provincial government award exemplary punishment to the accused involved in the murder.
He also demanded that the JIT report be made public; otherwise, they will hold a protest demonstration.
