Two dacoits gunned down in Rahim Yar Khan police encounter

Two dacoits were killed during an encounter with the police in Sadiqabad, Rahim Yar Khan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

The encounter took place in the jurisdiction of Saddar City Police Station.

District Police Officer (DPO) said that after receiving credible information, a police party cordoned off the Pul Samdani area.

Seeing the presence of the police, the armed dacoits started firing.

During an exchange of fire, two dacoits died, and their other accomplices fled from the scene.

The DPO further revealed that the identification process of the dead dacoit was underway, and police teams were constituted to apprehend the accomplices of the dacoits.
