Two traffic police officers in Hangu district Monday shot dead for an unknown reasons by an unidentified assailants, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The police have launched the investigation into the matter and search was underway to nab suspects who shot the traffic Police officers at Doaba’s main bazaar.

The authorities have shifted the bodies to the nearby hospital.

Separately, armed dacoits opened fire on the vehicle of police patrolling at Kasur’s village Rao Khan Wala, as a result of which the Constable Rasheed Ahmad suffered severe injury.

The constable had receive bullets on shoulders and stomach. The armed dacoits after carrying robbery were fleeing the scene to Raiwind. 

The motorcyclists opened fired on the vehicle, when the patrolling police asked them to stop.
