Second time immigration clearance at Lahore airport irks passengers

What could be termed the height of incompetence, the immigration staff deputed at Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport makes the passengers disembark from a plane for immigration clearance even after the boarding process is complete, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
Sources told the 24News TV channel that this had started resulting in delays in the departure of flights.
The situation has prompted airlines to demand the airport and immigration officials take notice of the situation since immigration clearance for the second time not only creates inconvenience for the passengers but also for the airlines.
