Balochistan minister from PTI expresses desire to join JUI

Following defections by the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) members of the National Assembly (MNAs) at Center and resignations by two federal ministers belonging to the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) just yesterday, on Wednesday (March 30, 2022), a similar tendency is being witnessed in Balochistan as well where Provincial Minister Mubeen Khilji has reportedly expressed his desire to the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) that he wants to join the party, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.

Quoting its sources, the TV channel has reported that the JUI’s provincial leadership has told Khilji that it will inform him of their decision after consultations. 

Mubeen Khilji had been elected as a member of Balochistan Assembly on a PTI ticket in 2018 general elections.
