Another PTI lawmaker contracts COVID-19

Another Pakistan Tehrik-Insaf lawmaker went into isolation as he got infected with the novel virus on Saturday. MNA Amir Dogar underwent test from Nishtar Hosptial that confirmed he caught coronavirus.
Earlier, Kashmir Committee Chairman Shehryar Afridi said he had quarantined himself at home after testing positive for the virus. In a tweet, the state minister said he opted for isolation as he contracted COVID-19. He also prayed for the nation’s safety.
On May 20, PTI MPA Shaheen Raza died from coronavirus at the Mayo Hospital in Lahore. Raza who was member of the Punjab Assembly, (MPA), was the first parliamentarian died from COVID-19 in Pakistan.
She was shifted to the isolation ward of Mayo Hospital, Lahore, on Monday and was put on a ventilator after her condition deteriorated. She was earlier quarantined at a district health hospital after showing symptoms of coronavirus.
