Television anchorperson Maria Memon has tested positive for coronavirus.
Maria Memon took to social media to disclose that she had mild symptoms for the past two days and got herself tested.
“Results are here, I am positive & currently self-isolating. It is very important to discourage social stigma related to COVID. Be socially responsible. Isolate, get tested & let people know abt ur condition”, she said in a tweet.

She also thanked her fans for praying for her early recovery. “Really overwhelmed by everyone’s concern & warmth. Thank you I did my regular show (from home) today. There should be no social stigma around COVID.”
