APTMA presents draft textile policy to govt

The All Pakistan Textile Mills Association (APTMA) on Saturday presented its draft of policy measures to the federal government.

APTMA has demanded in the policy draft that competitive regional power tariff for industrial consumers should be nine cents per kilowatt hour. The Rs100 billion subsidy to given other sectors should be withdrawn and an across the board tariff should be announced instead of the per hour tariff. It said that businesses should have the permission to sign business-business-power contracts with CTBCM and other channels.
