BLACKPINK's Lisa to feature in a documentary
K-pop singer Lisa, popularly known as a member of the music band BLACKPINK, is embarking on a new venture after her music career and acting appreciated in The White Lotus. According to Variety, the Money singer will be the subject of a documentary movie. The upcoming film is produced by Sony Music Vision and directed by Sue Kim.
Sue Kim's documentary, made in collaboration with LLOUD CO/RCA Records and Tremolo Productions, follows Lisa for a year as she goes about her solo career outside of the K-pop supergroup Blackpink. The release of her debut album, Alter Ego, which notably reached the top 10 of the Billboard 200 and debuted at the top of the top album sales chart, is one of the highlights of that journey. She also starred in season three of The White Lotus and gave her first solo performance at Coachella.
A trailer for the film was showcased in the presentation showcasing her journey of the one year. However, the release date for the film is not announced yet.
"This has been such an incredible year, and I'm so lucky to have the opportunity to capture these special moments on film and share the experience with my fans," Lisa said in a statement.
