6-year-old boy drowns in Rawalpindi nullah

A six-year-old boy died after he drowned in a nullah while playing in the jurisdiction of Sadiqabad Police Station in Rawalpindi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.

A police team reached the area and shifted the dead body of the kid namely Mujahid Yaqoob to a local hospital and informed the heirs of the kid about the incident.

Police investigation was underway.
