Fire and ‘no firebrigade’ destroy widow’s house in Wazirabad

A poor widow woman in Wazirabad saw her house gutting in flames as she stood helpless because there was no fire brigade facility in the city, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

According to details, the house of late Muhammad Iqbal’s widow situated in Muhallah Darsul Quran in Ali Pur Chattha caught fire and the flames quickly engulfed her entire tenement. The fire gutted the poor lady’s furniture and other fixture in the house and she watched the scene quite helplessly as there was no fire brigade facility available near the area. When the fire brigade van reached the place, the whole house was gutted. 

The poor widow was left with nothing when the succor reached her.
