Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) officially declared its support for Pakistan People's Party Parliamentarian (PPPP) President Asif Ali Zardari in the upcoming presidential elections. According to the 24News HD TV channel, this was announced by the MQM-P Spokesperson Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui and highlighted that Asif Zardari was previously nominated as the presidential candidate by MQM-P too.
Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari expressing gratitude for the endorsement from MQM-P acknowledged the support and stated that they intend to elect Asif Zardari as the President with a majority.
PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto emphasized that Asif Ali Zardari is poised to become the President with a significant mandate.
Bilawal Bhutto also assured the people that the attention of the new government is expected to be particularly focused on Karachi.
Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leader Khawaja Saad Rafique also expressed optimism, stating that Asif Zardari will be elected as the President with historic votes and the MQM's support for Asif Zardari adds a new dimension to the dynamics of the upcoming presidential elections.
