An Italian Airline Neos has shown its interest in starting flight operation for Pakistan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.

Sources said in this regard the administrations of Neos Airline contacted with Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).

Neos Airlines will start direct flight operations from Italy to Pakistan. Initially, the Italian airline will start weekly flights to Lahore, CAA sources said.

However, the foreign airline has also expressed its interest in operating flights to Karachi and Islamabad as well.

Sources further said that Neos Airlines will start air operations to Pakistan as soon as it gets permission from the CAA.

The arrival of a new airline from a European country will boost trade and provide direct travel facilities to passengers, sources concluded.
