FIA offloads two Europe-bound passengers at Multan Airport

In an operation at Multan Airport, Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Immigration has offloaded two passengers who were attempting to travel to Europe illegally under the guise of Umrah visas, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday. 

According to the FIA, the offloaded passengers were identified as Muhammad Mudassir and Zeeshan hail from different areas of Vehari district.

According to the preliminary investigation, the passengers Muhammad Mudassir and Zeeshan obtained Umrah visas in collusion with agents from Gujranwala.

The passengers intended to subsequently travel illegally from Saudi Arabia to other countries.

The tickets and hotel bookings presented by the passengers also turned out to be fake.

The passengers have been handed over to the Anti-Human Trafficking Circle, Multan, for the identification of the agents and further legal proceedings.

Further investigation is underway.
