CDA proposes Pakistan’s largest zip line in Islamabad’s Margalla Hills

The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has prepared a new plan to promote tourism in Islamabad, including a proposal to build Pakistan’s largest zip line in the Margalla Hills.

According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, the proposal is part of Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi’s vision to develop Islamabad as a tourist city and attract more visitors to the capital.

According to the proposal, the zip line would be 2.83 kilometres long and would be constructed in a mountainous valley between Daman-e-Koh and the former Monal site.

CDA officials said the proposed attraction would help develop a new tourist centre in the Margalla Hills and provide visitors with another recreational facility in the capital.

Under the proposal, the zip line would begin and end at the same point, allowing visitors to return to the starting area after completing the ride.

The project is currently a proposal by the CDA and forms part of plans to expand tourism-related facilities in Islamabad.
