14-year-old maid raped, murdered in Lahore

A 14-year-old girl working as a maid at a house in Lahore’s Murghazar Colony was raped and murdered while the owner of the house, in order to hide the crime, sent her body to her native town Pattoki in the dead of the night to hide his crime, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

Residents of the area alerted the police by dialing Helpline 15. 

Police have arrested the house owner, Qasim, besides sending a team to Pattoki to bring the girl’s body back for the postmortem and forensic analysis.

The Lahore CCPO said that those involved in the incident would be punished as per law. 

He further said that the house owner had told police that the maid had committed suicide by hanging herself with a ceiling fan.
