Govt issues notification to establish 30 new accountability courts

The Federal Government has issued a notification to establish 30 more Accountability Courts country-wide, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel Monday.
These new Accountability Courts would help in expediting the accountability process in the country and the government has allocated Rs400million for establishing these additional 30 Accountability Courts.
According to the notification, Karachi would get six new accountability court while five new accountability courts would be established in Lahore.
Peshawar would get four new courts while Multan, Islamabad, Sukkur, and Quetta would get three new accountability courts each. Two new accountability courts would be established in Hyderabad while Rawalpindi would get one new court.
These courts would work in the judicial complexes of the respective cities and funds have been approved for establishing theses courts.
The Law Justice Division of Ministry of Law and Justice has issued a notification in this regard citing the Supreme Court's decision as a reason to establish these new accountability courts to expedite the process of the accountability process.
