An occasion for the students of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s (KP) relatively cold areas to celebrate as province’s Higher Education Department on Monday extended vacations in colleges of these areas till February 15, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The notification issued in this connection reads that in view of bitter cold in some parts of the KP, the provincial government has decided to extend vacations in colleges of these areas till 15 of this month.

While colleges in other provinces of the country were reopened on January 18, after an almost three-week break due to the coronavirus, colleges in some areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa remained closed in view of extreme cold.
