Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Senior-vice President Maryam Nawaz has said they will clean sweep upcoming elections and those who think the PML-N is afraid of going into elections should know that the party is in the field.

Addressing the workers’ convention at Bahawalpur on Wednesday, Maryam Nawaz urged the youth to join the PML-N’s cause to get the country out of crisis.

“I promise you that we will not only contest the next elections but will secure sweeping victory," Maryam added.

“Here is the QR Code. You can join our social media,” Maryam Nawaz asked the youths to become the voice for Nawaz Sharif and Shehbaz Sharif.

PML-N Chief Organizer Maryam Nawaz, who was recently given the additional responsibility of reorganizing the party, also launched the party's membership campaign and urged people to join their social media groups.

She also expressed grief over the Peshawar Police Lines blast, praying for the lives lost and a peaceful Pakistan.

PML-N senior vice president conveyed Nawaz Sharif’s regards to the people of Bahawalpur, a key city in Punjab. “Nawaz Sharif asked me to begin the political campaign from Bahawalpur.”

Maryam said that the party titles have recently been given and she cherishes her supporters’ love more than the designations granted to her.

Speaking on the occasion, Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah criticized Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Chief Imran Khan over his International Monetary Fund (IMF) deal during his tenure, saying that he led the country to the worst economic crisis.

Rana Sanaullah said that the government had full cognizance of the skyrocketing inflation, noting that they were forced to take this step.

He said Imran Khan was a tyrant leader who felt insulted in holding dialogues with political rivals.

"He created a mess in the country's politics which can only be cleansed by throwing him out of the system," Rana added.

Rana Sanaullah called Imran Khan a "cancer for Pakistan's politics," and said he must be "eliminated" through the power of the vote in the upcoming elections.

The minister took a promise from PML-N workers that they will vote for the party's candidate in the upcoming elections regardless of their personal grudges and differences.

Rana Sanaullah also welcomed Maryam Nawaz back into national politics, saying she was the most popular political leader in Pakistan. He said the presence of Maryam Nawaz would shatter Imran Khan's popularity myth.

“Inflation, unemployment, and terrorism will fall down in near future,” said Rana Sanaullah, adding that there was a party that was making false claims that it had huge popularity.

He vowed that they were determined to minus him [Imran Khan] from national politics.

Pertinent to mention, PML-N Senior Vice-President Maryam Nawaz is leading the countrywide campaign amid the soaring political temperature
