PMDC announces second phase of National Registration Exam

Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) on Thursday announced the second phase of the National Registration Exam so that foreign medical graduates could appear in it, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The National Registration Exam Step-II will be held in two phases.

According to the PMDC, the first phase will be held on January 24 and January 25, while the second phase on January 31 and February 1.

The PMDC informed that the exam would be held on Saturday and Sunday.

Online registration for the exam will continue until January 12.

The candidates will be able to get themselves registered by logging on to the PMDC website.

The council said that those candidates who had failed last time would be given another chance to clear the exam.

These candidates were being given another chance under the PMDC’s decision, dated July 24, 2025.
