France recognizes Pakistan’s war win over India

Pakistan emerged victorious in its recent military engagement with India, according to French political analyst Christophe Jaffrelot, who advised India to abandon its long-standing notion of annihilating Pakistan, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel on Sunday.

According to the channel report, Jaffrelot warned that India’s attempts to use the Indus Waters Treaty as a strategic weapon could lead to dangerous consequences, emphasising that water should never be politicised or militarised.

The French expert also acknowledged Pakistan’s air superiority during the conflict, stating that China-supplied equipment played a crucial role.

"This may be the first time we’ve seen Chinese fighter jets significantly influence a war," Jaffrelot remarked. "Pakistan benefited from strong cooperation with China, just as Indian media reports are highlighting."

He further added that this defeat will leave a profound and lasting impact on Indian domestic politics.

The belief in destroying Pakistan must be abandoned, he advised, pointing out that Pakistan is a nuclear-armed nation with strategic support from China.

Jaffrelot underlined that one issue India must avoid disturbing at all costs is the Indus Waters Treaty. “Weaponising water is dangerous,” he concluded.
