HEC announces scholarships for PhD scholars in Austria

The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has announced scholarships for Pakistani PhD scholars seeking to pursue research at educational institutions in Austria.

According to the announcement, PhD scholars from a wide range of academic disciplines, including science, medicine, engineering, physics, chemistry, computer engineering and other related fields, will be eligible to apply for the scholarship programme.

Under the scheme, selected candidates will receive full financial support for the first six months of their research work in Austrian educational institutions, providing scholars with an opportunity to enhance their academic and research capabilities at internationally recognised universities.

HEC has set July 7 as the deadline for submitting scholarship applications and has urged interested candidates to complete the application process before the closing date.

The initiative is expected to strengthen academic cooperation and research links between Pakistan and Austria while enabling talented Pakistani researchers to gain international exposure in their respective fields.

Students and researchers interested in availing the opportunity have been advised to submit their applications before the July 7 deadline announced by HEC.
